Bristol's top newspaper in back on the streets shocker!!!

Bit late with this news. KRS got here weeks ago in fact.

It’s not just Barbara “call me ma’m” Janke back who’s back in the fold. Because yet another old friend has risen almost Lazarus-like from the dead. None other than that notorious award-winning smiter of the high and mighty itself.

Yes folks The Bristolian is back. Apparently being produced from somewhere in the depths of Patchway by some people considerably younger than Ian Bone, the first issue is on the streets now and another is on the way I’m assured.

A pdf of the issue is available below.

Good to see its back, I used to enjoy reading the Bristolian. Can we expect to see it being handed out around corn street as before?

  2. Ella says:

It was being handed out on Corn Street last week! 🙂 Keep an eye out for two young chaps looking awkward.

And not a moment too soon!

  4. On the Money says:

Was going to congratulate Bristol until I saw the pdf. Fair enough the Banda duplicator look but “reccession” (in a headline!) … ? Aye, well …..

  5. Sam says:

If you have any news for us or would like to help distributing/getting it in your local pubs or anything else email bristoliannews@gmail.com.

  6. Ella says:

Can I please clear the name of some of the people who edit this: there were tantrums because the person who puts it together refused to correct some of the horrific spelling and grammatical errors.

  7. Ella says:

Add The Bristolian on Facebook bbz!

  8. Noel says:

Would it not have been better to set that up as a page or group on facebook rather than a profile?

  9. Ella says:

It’s easier to get people you want to attract through a profile than a page or group, but I’m sure both will be set up eventually for maximum exposure.

  10. Sorry folks, but like many people over the age of 25, I don’t use these newfangled fuckbook thingys.

  11. BristleKRS says:

That’s okay, gramps, seeing as it is available in paper form, on the streets 😛

  12. You cheeky little bugger. You kick your football over my fence again and it bloody well burst it you hear?

  13. snafu says:

    Talking about old people 😉
does anyone else find that the middle aged and elderly are increasingly revolting, while so many young’uns seem to have lost that kicking spirit? It’s a topsy turvy world.
